These vertical centres are designed to cover the entire range of machining

The new compact vertical machining centres, DMC 635 / 835 / 1035, from DECKEL MAHO, feature an 8,000 rpm. spindle, 20x tool magazine with double gripper, high rapid traverse speeds and high-tech controls with 3D-software, which deliver advantages to the customer at an unbeatable price-to-performance ratio.

Advanced applications in tool and mould making are the still the speciality of the HSC precision centres HSC 20 linear and DMC 55 / 75 / 105 V linear, setting benchmarks with linear drives in all axes, spindle speeds of up to 42,000 rpm, the latest control technology and sturdy design ensuring long-term accuracy. The machines have 5 to 10 times faster cutting speeds than conventional machines, while reducing cutting forces and lowering vibration, consequently achieving better surface qualities with Ra 0.2 μm precision. The 5-axis version of the DMC 55 / 75 / 105 V linear with direct drive in the spindle head and an NC rotary table offer maximum performance for 5-axis simultaneous machining.

With different sizes and modular expansion options, the DMF linear series offers a degree of flexibility unrivalled in the market of travelling column centres. With a linear drive in the long X-axis, machines in the DMF linear series operate with accelerations of up to 0.5 g and rapid traverse speeds of up to 100 m/min. The right solution for every 5-axis machining task: universal milling head with automatic pivot from vertical to horizontal position, combined with the NC rotary table, for easy 5-sided machining. The DMC U series offers various expansion options for 5-axis simultaneous machining, such as the NC rotary table with NC milling head as an A or B-axis, NC rotary table with 5X torqueMASTER® (B-axis) for high volume chip removal, or the NC-swivel rotary table with horizontal milling head as an optional 5-axis solution. The duoBLOCK® series is equipped with a fast rotary pallet changer. The gantry series comes with a linear pallet changer and a rotary magazine, from RS2 (4 pallets) to RS10 (12 pallets in the system), depending on the machine type. In addition, this Mega Milling Centre for 5-axis complete machining has a work area of 16 cubic m3 and a maximum workpiece load of 16 t.
